Together, the pair has hilarious, heartfelt, and honest conversations about the shared experiences that connect women over 40.
You two are obviously great friends. Tell us about your friendship and how it developed.
Jeanette: We met when our kids were just babies in daycare, and they instantly connected and would hold hands walking to the playground. It was adorable, so we started setting up playdates. A few years later, I went through a divorce, and Tiffany did about a year after. That shared experience really deepened our bond—we leaned on each other during a time when it was hard to relate to anyone else. Tiffany brings the energy, creativity, and big-picture vision. I bring the realism and grounding. We balance each other out and can laugh through pretty much anything.
Tiffany: In 2013, I went through a really difficult time after the loss of my second baby—something I share more openly in Episode 5. Jeanette and I were still getting to know each other at that point, but when she found out what I was going through, she showed up in the most thoughtful way. She put together a care basket and dropped it off with such quiet kindness. It deeply touched me and, honestly, set the tone for how I want to show up for friends going through hard things.
When you're in deep grief, you don’t have the capacity to hold space for other people’s emotions—you’re barely holding your own. But Jeanette’s gesture made me feel seen without adding weight. That moment really solidified our friendship for me. From there, our connection just deepened—and the balance between us, the way we hold space for each other, has become such a meaningful part of both our lives.
How did A Holistic Dose come to be. Why a podcast and why did you want to do one together?
Tiffany: We’d been having these deep, hilarious, and sometimes brutally honest conversations about midlife—about beauty, wellness, parenting, relationships—and realized, we can’t be the only ones craving this kind of dialogue. So, we decided to bring it to the mic.
For me personally, storytelling has always been my love language. It’s how I connect, how I heal, and how I help others feel seen. I’ve spent over 20 years building successful lifestyle brands through storytelling and creative direction, and I’ve learned a lot including what works, what doesn’t, and what really matters in the long-run. I wanted to share those lessons not just from a professional lens, but from a personal one too.
Starting this podcast felt like the natural extension of my passion for mentoring and connecting with people. I’ve always believed in helping others see what’s possible for themselves, and I wanted to model that—especially for my daughter. As a single mom, it’s important to me that she sees what it looks like to go after your dreams, even if it’s scary, even if it’s late, even if it’s not perfect. If one woman listens and feels more inspired, more capable, or simply less alone, then I’ve done my job.
Jeanette: A podcast felt like the right medium because it allowed us to be raw and unfiltered. We didn’t want to curate a perfect Instagram image of midlife—we wanted real conversations, and podcasting gave us space to explore all of that.
On Instagram, you have a teaser for an episode on dating in your 40s. Can you share some other interesting upcoming episode topics listeners can look forward to?
Jeanette: Definitely! We’re diving into topics that are deeply relevant to women in their 40s and beyond. One big one is divorce—not just the legal side, but the emotional and identity shifts that come with it. As a family law attorney and founder of Atlanta Holistic Family Law, I’ve guided so many women through that transition, and I know firsthand how overwhelming and isolating it can feel.
Statistically, midlife is a common time for major life shifts—divorce, career changes, even parenting teens—and even if you're not going through it yourself, chances are you know someone who is. And from there, naturally comes another big topic: dating again. That’s something Tiffany speaks to personally. She’s gone through divorce and is currently navigating the dating scene, so her perspective brings honesty, vulnerability, and a lot of humor to those conversations.
These are the real-life things women are living through, but they’re not often talked about in an honest, relatable way. That’s what we’re aiming to do with A Holistic Dose—shed light on these chapters and remind women they’re not alone in them.
Tiffany: We really wanted to build a space where women could hear conversations that reflect what they’re actually living. We’ve got upcoming episodes on things like skincare over 40—what’s worth it, what’s hype—starting over professionally, and what no one tells you about parenting teens (hint: it’s not easier just because they sleep through the night).
We also dig into the emotional side of reinvention—figuring out who you are now that life looks different, whether that’s post-divorce, post-kids, or just post-burnout. These are the conversations we were already having as friends, and now we get to invite others into them. It’s empowering, and honestly, it’s been really healing too.
